While risks are minimal, there are some side effects and potential (but rare) complications associated with Dysport injections. The most common side effects include muscle weakness, redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising around injection sites. Other side effects may include headache, muscle stiffness, flu symptoms, and other mild side effects. Rare but serious side effects include muscle weakness throughout the body, changes in vision, trouble speaking, loss of bladder control, and trouble speaking or breathing.
Ideal candidates are adults in generally good physical and mental health who would like to treat or prevent dynamic wrinkles. Clients who are allergic to milk may not be candidates.
